Carnmoney HillToday I decided to go again on the Carnmoney Hill. First I made the Woodland Trust path trip just under the Carnmoney Hill, and I found 4 caches. After that I spent maybe one hour searching for the path leading to the top. The path I took last time led today through cows, and I somehow didn't was to pass close to them. The other side of the hill is residential area, it looked almost like in the Desperate Housewives series. I started to ask people how can I get on the top. Slowly I got to another cow field with a fence around it. One lady told me that everybody is going through that cow field: 'They are no harm...' Hmm well ok. I was pretty sure there is one official way which does not lead through private property. After another 15 mins of exploring the area I finally found the way on the top. It led behind the gardens of those people who told me I should go through the cows. Some people have even doors in their backyard leading to that path. The way up was very nice and surprisingly short. FYI: If the track leads through private property it is upon the owner wheter he allows people to cross his land. If yes, usually there are stiles build to cross the fences. It there are no stiles, in general it is not allowed to climb over the fence. Well and about the cows, they say you can go through them ... but I'm still not sure about this, they are Irish cows, maybe if they were Slovek I can at least speak to them ;) | ||
