Carnmoney hill

This morning I decided to walk to Carnmoney hill and to find a cache there. The initial task looked quite simple, I checked the way on google maps, and at 8am went out from my house.

First observation: Roads on google maps are not necessary roads for cars, and also don't need to be concrete. Just whatever muddy path in the forest is a road.

Second observation: Fence in Ireland is not an obstacle, and may appear anytime on your path.

Third observation: Grass is tall and wet.

Fourth observation: Some fences are electrical, and usually are cows behind them (fortunatelly I didn't cross this one).

Fifth oberation: People here are very kind and even a complete strange peson, which you will meet on the top of the hill will invite you for a dinner! (An explanation: I met very nice woman - Eleanor, and I asked her how can I get on the very top of the hill, I was maybe 200m from the top and there were bushes all around. She said, come, I will show you. We talked almost for half an hour, she described me everything I can see from the top, and later she excused herself that she needs to go home and work. But she asked me for my phone number and promised she will invite us someday for lunch or dinner!)

See the panorama from the top.
