What a day. There was a fire in Seattle in Fisher Plaza. Some main generator or something. This will be totally unimportant, unless the Fisher Plaza is home to multiple datacenter and colocation providers. There is no fire anymore, they say it's just heat and lots of water. There are some important servers stored, even some local TVs. But what's bothering me at most is that they stored also all the groundspeak servers, which means that geocaching and wherigo are completely down now.

Well and the other thing today, they were supposed to deliver me our brand new Oregon. Courier should have been here today before 4pm. So I was waiting and waiting. At half 4 I'm calling what's wrong with my delivery. THey said that it has been delivered. I said no, no it hasn't. They said aah yah well the driver saw some road works so he turned around. Me: You must been kidding me, the road works is 30 metres from my house! They: Hmm well sorry. Me: Ok I want back my money for the delivery. They said ok, and the delivery will be again on monday. This time, the driver will call me.

And yes, the road really has been closed, but from the nearest parking to my doors was about 50 metres. The picture is taken from the beginning of the already repaired road, right after the first house in the middle of that crossroad was end of that road work, and my house is first white on the left... If the driver would just ask some of those workers...
